US Forces Launch Military Attack on Venezuela, Capture President Maduro
A military operation was carried out by the United States against Venezuela early Saturday morning, resulting in explosions reported across the country. The attacks targeted multiple locations, including Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela.
According to reports, at least seven explosions were heard in Caracas, with some residents claiming to have seen low-flying aircraft in the area. The Venezuelan government has declared a state of emergency and named the United States as responsible for the attacks.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that his country’s forces had successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro. Trump stated that Maduro and his wife, First Lady Cilia Flores, were captured and flown out of the country.
The US Federal Aviation Administration had issued instructions to American commercial airlines to stay clear of Venezuelan airspace earlier in the day. The Colombian government has also reported that multiple locations within Venezuela were targeted by the US military.
Trump announced a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Friday, where more details about the operation would be revealed. However, neither the US nor Venezuelan authorities have provided specific information on the locations struck during the attack.
The operation marks a significant escalation of tensions between the US and Venezuela, with both countries having accused each other of involvement in recent months. The US has launched a series of strikes against boats in the Caribbean Sea, claiming they were carrying narcotics, but no public evidence has been presented to support these claims.
